PURPOSE: A set-top box screen virtualization system and method thereof are provided to offer a thin client service based on a cloud service through an existed set-top box by interlocking the set-top box with hardware. CONSTITUTION: A screen virtualization processing unit(110) outputs an application driving screen to a media output apparatus(30) in case the application driving screen received from a content server(10) is matched with a screen virtualization packet. The screen virtualization processing apparatus transmits screen information to a virtualization set-top box(120). The screen virtualization processing apparatus receives a screen image from the set-top box. The set-top box receives the application driving screen or the images from the screen virtualization processing apparatus. |
