<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an air volume adjustment mechanism which supplies different volume of air to respective cooling areas, requires many failure detection components according to the number of cooling areas.SOLUTION: A failure detection device for an air volume adjustment mechanism comprises: an opening/closing state change unit which controls opening/closing states of respective pieces of air flow adjustment means corresponding to respective areas; an air velocity measurement unit which measures an air velocity at a position where the air velocity changes according to combination of the opening/closing states; and a failure determination unit which determines a failure part on the basis of combination of the opening/closing states and the air velocity, then outputs a result of the determination.</p> |
