[Also in Group XXXV] In a motor-driven pump, the partition 16 between the stator and rotor is carried by a support 10 which also carries a bearing sleeve 11 for the common motor and impeller shaft, some of the pumped liquid passing through apertures 18 in the support 10 to cool the rotor and lubricate the bearings 13 before returning to the suction side of the impeller by way of apertures 19, 24.
