<p>The objective of the present invention is to reduce cost by installing only the minimum number of service plugs needed when configuring a high-voltage, high-capacity power supply by connecting a plurality of battery modules. A cont rol unit (141) controls starting and stopping of supply of power to the drive unit of a vehicle. A battery module (101) has a relay (113) for switching between starting and stopping of supply to the drive unit of the vehicle of the power generated by a power supply unit (111) according to a control performed by the control unit (141). A battery module (103) has a relay (133) for switching between starting and stopping of supply to the drive unit of the vehicle of the power generated by a power supply unit (131) according to a control performed by the control unit (141).
