The device (3) has a first function generator (6) i.e. sine sources, adapted for generating a continuous sine wave. A second function generator (8) i.e. pulse generator, is coupled with a radio frequency switch (7). The second function generator is acted with a predetermined pulse sequence. The radio frequency switch outputs the output oscillation signal and transmits the output oscillation signal to a component (1) e.g. bipolar plate or end plate, at a fuel cell. A power amplifier (9) is adapted for amplifying the oscillation output signal of the radio frequency switch. An independent claim is also included for a method for oscillation excitation at component.
