摘要 The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a translucent ceramic material for application by dispenser, which can be stably ejected from a dispenser; and a method for manufacturing an LED device using this translucent ceramic material for application by dispenser. In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, there is provided a method for manufacturing an LED device, which comprises: a step wherein an LED element is prepared; a step wherein a translucent ceramic material containing a polysiloxane compound and an organic solvent is applied by a dispenser so as to cover an LED chip and a metal reflective layer and cured thereon, thereby forming a translucent ceramic layer; and a step wherein a wavelength conversion layer is formed on the translucent ceramic layer. The solid content concentration of the translucent ceramic material is 0.1% by mass or more but less than 5% by mass; the organic solvent contains a high-boiling-point solvent having a boiling point of 150°C or more but less than 250°C; and the concentration of the high-boiling-point solvent in the translucent ceramic material is 0.1% by mass or more but less than 10% by mass.
