PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having high adaptability to changes in lie.SOLUTION: A head 2 comprises: a face surface f4; a sole surface f8; and a leading edge Le. The head 2 has the face height HF of 29 mm or more, and the head width HW of 65 mm or less. When a face progression is FP (mm), a ratio FP/HW of the head 2 is not less than 0.25 and not more than 0.40. When the head weight is Wh and the club weight is Wc, it is preferable that Wh/Wc is 0.75 or more. Preferably, a real loft angle of the head 2 is 25° or more. When a moment of inertia of the upper/lower is MI (g cm) and a volume of the head is Vh (cm), preferably, MI/Vh is 9.0 or more. |
