PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience at the time of pointing.SOLUTION: A pointing system including a display device for displaying video and an electronic apparatus provided with an imaging part for imaging the display device displaying video includes: a motion sensor part for measuring a measurement value that represents a posture of the electronic apparatus; a posture calculation part for calculating a point at which an optical axis of the imaging part crosses a plane including a display area of the display device as a pointing position on the basis of the measurement value measured by the motion sensor part; a determination part for determining whether the pointing position is located within the display area; and a correction part for correcting the pointing position in the case where the determination part determines that the pointing position is located within the display area.
