PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sliding torque of a dust filter 2 in a seal device having the dust filter 2 made of a fabric.SOLUTION: A seal device includes: a seal body 1 attached to the non rotary housing 300 side and having a seal lip 12 that closely contacts with the rotary side 3 so as to slide and is made of a rubber elastic material; and a dust filter 2 which is positioned closer to the atmosphere side B than the seal lip 12 and is made of a fabric provided at the seal body 1. The dust filter 2 is placed in contact with an atmosphere side flange 4 provided at the rotary side 3 so as to slide. The seal body 1 includes biasing means 15 which biases the dust filter 2 in an axial direction toward the atmosphere side flange 4 and is made of a rubber elastic material. |
