1. A display device comprising:
a display panel comprising a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of pixel units respectively connected to corresponding ones of the gate lines and the data lines; a data driver connected to the data lines; a gate driver connected to the gate lines; a signal controller operatively coupled for and configured for controlling operations of the data driver and of the gate driver, one or more power voltage sourcing units configured for selectively producing corresponding power source voltage signals when enabled and for not producing the power source voltage signals when disabled; wherein the signal controller is operatively coupled to control at least one of the power voltage sourcing units that is coupled to provide a respective first power source voltage to the data driver and the signal controller is configured to cause that at least one power voltage sourcing unit to not supply its respective first power source voltage signal during a new-image blanking time, the latter time being one in which the signal controller does not supply image data to the data driver.
