Disclosed is a distributed battery management system comprising: at least two slave control units which are sequentially connected in a daisy chain structure; battery modules which are respectively connected to the slave control units; and a master control unit which is connected to an uppermost slave unit in the slave control units and manages the battery modules. The uppermost slave unit includes a differential signal interface IC to encode control information transmitted from the master control unit to an asynchronous differential signal and decode sensing information which is transmitted from the salve control units and corresponds to the encoded control information. The system of the present invention performs the communication between the slave control units in the asynchronous communication manner by a differential, thereby improving stability and reliability of the communication even though a ground level is changed by the outside or a noise generated outside. |
