摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a device and method for compensating for the power of an electric load of a vehicle using a high-capacity capacitor. According to the present invention, a high-capacity capacitor is rapidly discharged to compensate for power when voltages outputted from a generator and from a battery temporarily drop while a vehicle is being driven, wherein the high-capacity capacitor is charged using a constant power pulse charging method to prevent the voltage of the battery from becoming unstable when the generator is overloaded during charging. Also, when the voltage of a battery terminal decreases due to an electric load of the vehicle while charging the high-capacity capacitor, the charging of the high-capacity capacitor is temporarily stopped and charged power is discharged to compensate for the power of the electric load of the vehicle, thereby compensating for unstable power supply due to a voltage drop in real time. Therefore, the output of the vehicle can be improved, and driving performance can be improved by preventing a temporary decrease in speed. Further, fuel efficiency can be improved, and the performance and lifespan of various electronic components can be remarkably improved.</p>
