PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shear pin breakage detecting device and a shear pin breakage detection method capable of detecting breakage of a shear pin with a simple configuration instead of a complicated configuration.SOLUTION: A shear pin breakage detecting device 1 includes: a shear pin 10 having conductivity connected to a power supply, as an energized circuit; a first signal output part 20 which outputs a first signal when magnitude of the electric current flowing into the shear pin 10 is zero and which is connected to the circuit; and a first alarm device 24 that carries out informing operation based on input of the outputted first signal. |
