PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a conveyance control method capable of forming images at appropriate positions on recording paper.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a control unit that controls, when position adjustment information indicates that position adjustment on recording paper has been performed to first image formation, a conveyance timing of the recording paper to which an image formed in the first image formation is transferred on the basis of a first time and a first reference value, controls a conveyance timing of the recording paper to which an image formed in second image formation is transferred on the basis of a second time, the first reference value, and a second reference value; and controls, when the position adjustment information indicates that position adjustment on recording paper has been performed to the second image formation, a conveyance timing of the recording paper to which the image formed in the first image formation is transferred on the basis of the first time, the first reference value, and the second reference value, and controls a conveyance timing of the recording paper to which the image formed in the second image formation is transferred on the basis of the second time and the second reference value. |
