PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing medium and a printing device capable of printing without wasting the printing medium even when length of a printing area in a conveying direction is shorter than that of an identification mark.SOLUTION: On a front surface 110 of a sheet 100, a plurality of labels 150 are arranged at equal intervals, and a printing area 170 is set that includes each label 150. On a back surface 120 of the sheet 100, an identification mark 160 is printed that includes information of the label 150. Length F of the printing area 170 is shorter than length (A+B+D) of the identification mark 160 in a conveying direction. One identification mark 160 is associated with each printing area set 175 in which three printing areas 171, 172, and 173 of respective labels 151, 152, and 153 are made into one set. A front end position of the printing area set 175 is obtained based on a front end identifier 163 of the identification mark 160, and a front end position of each of the printing areas 171, 172, and 173 is detected. |
