PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of manufacturing cost cut and the like while improving durability of portions where a side plate portion of a case is coupled to heat transfer pipes.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger HE1 includes: a plurality of heat transfer pipes 1 each including pipe body portions 10a and 10b connected to a main pipe body portion 11 of a helical shape or the like, extending in an x direction, and distanced from each other in a z direction; and a case 2 accommodating therein the heat transfer pipes 1 by fixedly positioning the main pipe body portion 11 of each heat transfer pipe 1. First and second regions 22A and 22B for coupling the pipe body portions 10a and 10b are provided on a side plate portion 21 of the case 2 so as to be arranged away from each other across a central line of the side plate portion 21 in a z direction, a plurality of through-holes 28 for inserting the heat transfer pipes are provided to be aligned away from one another in a y direction, and a circumferential edge of each through-hole 28 is welded to outer circumferential surfaces of the pipe body portions 10a and 10b. End points P1 and P2 of the welding are at positions offset to a central line La of the side plate portion 21 in the z direction among surroundings of the pipe body portions 10a and 10b. |
