<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end surface polishing tool for sheet glass for polishing-processing an end surface in sheet glass.SOLUTION: An end surface polishing tool for sheet glass comprises a grinding stone part 12 in which a grinding grain structure 20 in which plural grinding grains are combined with each other by synthetic resin bonding agent is formed longitudinally and linearly, and a body part 14 gripping and fixing the grinding stone part 12 as replaceable. In the side peripheral part of the grinding stone part 12, formed is a coloring layer 12a which is peeled by polishing processing and the peeling of which can be confirmed visibly. Thus, the grinding stone part 12 can be replaced as worn by usage, to be provided for polishing processing, while problems like end face drooping and consumption of loose grain are suppressed. Therefore, an end surface at a hole part 52 formed in a cover glass 50 can be polishing-processed beneficially, and breakage of the cover glass 50 can be suppressed beneficially.</p> |
