The present invention provides an accessory for eyeglasses or sun glasses which fit over the arms of the sunglasses and allows the user to add flotation pieces, lights or lighting elements, or embellishments. The accessory can be quickly installed and allows the user to customize the color and design of their accessory.

1. An eyeglass accessory comprising:
a flotation element having an outside surface and an inside surface; a sleeve made of a flexible material attached to the inside surface of the flotation element, wherein a channel is created between the sleeve and the flotation element for receiving the arm of pair of eyeglasses; wherein the sleeve further comprises at least two slits formed at an angle to the channel wherein the slits form at least two flaps for receiving the arm of a pair of eyeglasses.
