<p>A system for transmitting and receiving information from sources of information to consumers in a digital communication system, in which, on the transmission side, a unit for converting a digital stream of binary bits assigns consecutive groups with a set number p of bits in a group, identifies for each group a sequence, corresponding thereto, of binary codes and, one-by-one, converts each group of bits into an ordered collection of bits with a corresponding sequence of codes for these bits, and also introduces, in addition to the values for the set of binary codes, other set values for codes, wherein the codes can be assigned values only from additionally introduced values for codes. On the reception side, the system comprises a unit for recovering an initial digital stream of binary bits, which is capable of identifying the ordered collection of bits and the sequence, corresponding thereto, of codes, and of recovering, one-by-one, the initial digital stream of binary bits, without any loss of information.</p> |
