A sensing platform using a meta-material comprises: multiple metallic patch elements; multiple metallic wire elements; and a dielectric substrate which is positioned between the multiple metallic patch elements and the multiple metallic wire elements. Therefore, the sensing platform using a meta-material according to the present invention is desirably designed such that the change in a resonant frequency is large and the bandwidth is narrow when a material on the sensing platform is changed. In addition, a label-free sensor including the sensing platform has an excellent inspecting performance.
