PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig grinder having a construction relating to rotation of a main axis relative to a head main body and sliding movement in the main axis direction having a high rigidity.SOLUTION: A main axis 11 is rotated around the main axis relative to a ram main body 12 via a bearing for main axis rotation by a built-in motor driving the main axis. The ram main body 12 is slid by motors 13a, 13b for driving Z axis via respective ball screws 14a, 14b and a ram main body guide rail 121 relative to a head main body 15 in the main axis direction (Z axis direction), in other word vertically moved. Therefore, rotation relative to the head main body 15 of the main axis 11 and sliding movement in the main axis direction is realized by combination of the two relative movements. |
