PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of simplifying an initialization process without sacrificing safety.SOLUTION: The invention provides an image formation apparatus having at least one cover door formed at a housing so as to be able to freely opened or closed includes: cover-door opening detection means for holding an output value of a signal output from a sensor in response to opening of the cover door during a power-OFF period as a history of opening the cover door; and initialization-process control means for controlling execution of an initialization process including a plurality of initialization operations. The initialization-process control means controls a predetermined initialization operation corresponding to the history of opening the cover door to be executed if the at least one cover door has the history of opening the cover door. |
