PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine having a high efficiency and a great rotation action.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a stator; and a rotor rotating around a rotation shaft by receiving a magnetic field applied from the stator. The rotor consists of a plurality of rotor elements acting with the stator at both poles, arranged so as to be separated from each other in a direction of the rotation shaft, and rotating around a common rotation shaft while maintaining a predetermined phase difference in a rotation direction. With respect to the stator, the number of poles P satisfies the following formula (1): P=2×(2n-1) (Here, n is a natural number). Due to this configuration, a torque can be generated at both poles of the rotor, and a rotation action can be dramatically increased. |
