PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability of a remote controller, performing operation setting by moving the remote controller, by eliminating the discomfort due to deviation of the moving direction of the remote controller from a direction indicated by the remote controller.SOLUTION: A photosensor 26 and a blinking light detection unit 27 detect the blinking light of a predetermined frequency from the backlight 15 of a television receiver 1. A motion sensor 21 detects motion of a remote controller 2. A command generation unit 23 generates a command signal depending on the detection output from the motion sensor 21. A transmission unit 25 transmits the command signal generated in the command generation unit 23 to the television receiver 1. A switch unit 24 controls transmission of the command signal, depending on the detection results from the blinking light detection unit 27. |
