PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device 1 with a high connection reliability between an imaging element chip 20 and a signal cable 50.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises: an imaging element chip 20 having a plurality of junction terminals 23 on the rear surface 20SB; a signal cable 50 having a plurality of conductor wires 51; a plurality of electrode parts 41 composed of a metal plate, a first main surface 40SA of each of the electrode parts being connected to a conductor wire 51 and a second main surface 40SB being joined to a junction terminal 23; a fixing part 42 which has a longitudinal positioning function for connecting the conductor wires 51 to the electrodes part 41 and which deforms by an external energization force to crimp and fix the conductor wires 51; and a relay board 40 having a plurality of extension parts 44 composed of the metal plate which is extended from the electrode parts 41 and is integrated with the electrode parts 41.
