摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthopedic implant strength evaluation method capable of performing strength evaluation in which a clinical condition is reflected and the actual use environment of an orthopedic implant is assumed.SOLUTION: An orthopedic implant strength evaluation method includes a static load testing process, a load determination process, and a fatigue testing process. In the static load testing process, a load is applied in a constraint state in which a part of a body is considered to which gamma nail as an orthopedic implant is applied, and a displacement amount is measured. In the load determination process, a load-displacement amount curve is created from the measurement value, and an estimator sets a point of inflection, and a first approximate straight line is calculated for the load and the displacement amount from the starting point to the point of inflection, a second approximate line is calculated for the load and the displacement amount from the point of inflection to the end point, and the intersection between the approximate straight lines is calculated as a point of inflection. In the fatigue testing process, a load in the point of inflection is applied, and a fatigue testing is performed.
