PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device capable of winding a strip around paper at an arbitrary position without increasing the size of the device.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing device in an embodiment includes: an accumulation device accumulating a predetermined number of sheets at a time; and a sealing device winding a strip around an accumulated paper sheet bundle and sealing the paper sheet bundle. The sealing device includes: a winding device winding the strip around the accumulated paper sheet bundle P, pulling the strip, and sealing the paper sheet bundle P; a hand 98 grasping the accumulated paper sheet bundle with an end portion of the paper sheet bundle nipped; a hand driving mechanism 98 making the hand reciprocate in a direction orthogonal to an accumulation direction of the paper sheet bundle, and drawing the paper sheet bundle to an arbitrary position relative to the winding device; detectors 118a, 118b, and 118c detecting a plurality of drawing positions of the hand; and a control unit controlling the hand to stop at one of the arbitrary position detected by the detectors, and adjusting a winding position of the strip relative to the paper sheet bundle. |
