PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an occupant protection device and a vehicular diagnostic device in which existence or nonexistence of an accident history can be discriminated even in a case a vehicle collision accident occurs and devices are replaced.SOLUTION: The control device of the occupant protection device which controls an onboard occupant protection device includes: calculating means S3 for calculating an accumulated travel distance by obtaining and time-integrating vehicle speed signal transmitted from other device in a vehicle, and an EEPROM 5 for storing the accumulated travel distance calculated by the calculating means. Thus, an excellent effect is provided that, by reading out the accumulated travel distance stored in the EEPROM 5 and comparing it with actual travel distance information of the vehicle which is obtained from an odometer, it is easy to discriminate existence or nonexistence of an accident history even in a case a vehicle collision accident occurs and devices are replaced. |
