<p>Techniques for elevating CD34 plus cell level in peripheral blood using light are disclosed herein. A light generating device is positioned to a body part and a beam of light generated by the light generating device is directed to the body part t to increase CD34 plus cell level in the peripheral blood of the patient. In various embodiments, the beam of light is direct to a body part of the patient that is CD34 plus stem/progenitor cell and/or precursor cell that give rise to CD34 plus stem or progenitor cell rich. In various embodiments, the body part is the abdomen of the patient rich in adipose tissue. In various embodiments, the light beam has one or more wavelength in the range of 400 to 1300 nanometer. In various embodiments, the light beam is a low intensity light beam of generated by a power of 1 to12 milliWatt.</p> |
