<p>The invention relates to a checking system, configured for checking authenticity of a product, to a device, configured for verifying authenticity of a product, and to a method for checking authenticity of a product. The checking system (1) comprises a tag (3) configured for being connectable to the product (2), wherein the tag (3) comprises at least one identity parameter of the product (2), a scanning unit (4) configured for scanning the tag (3), wherein the scanning unit (4) requests the tag (3) for at least one identity parameter of the product (2), and a database (5) configured for storing a plurality of predetermined identity parameters, wherein the scanning unit (4) sends the at least one identity parameter to the database (5), and wherein the database (5) compares the at least one identity parameter received with the plurality of predetermined identity parameters stored and sends the scanning unit (4) an information about the authenticity of the product (2). In this way, a possibility is provided for a user, such as a producer or a consumer, to get information about whether a product is authentic or fake while being reliable and easy to realize.</p> |
