The method for acquiring multitrack sound by a microphone array includes: acquiring M input signals, and performing echo suppression processing on the M input signals; performing time delay regulation on the M input signals by an nth-path time delay regulation module to form M nth-path output signals; performing beam forming on the M nth-path output signals by an nth-path self-adaptive beam forming module to obtain an nth-path signal; and processing the nth-path signal by an nth-path processing module to obtain an nth-track signal. In this way, this can be applied to multitrack sound acquisition of a non-professional environment such as household entertainment devices and the like, and can flexibly regulate the sound image width and the pickup distance magnitude.
