<p>The present invention is suitable for the field of communications. Provided are a stream forwarding method for a message and a message forwarding device. The method includes: receiving a message to be forwarded, and querying a stream list item corresponding to the message in a stream list, the stream list item corresponding to the message including main outbound interface forwarding information and backup outbound interface forwarding information; and if a main outbound interface of the main outbound interface forwarding information in the stream list item is normal, forwarding the message according to the main outbound interface forwarding information, and if the main outbound interface has failed, forwarding the message according to the backup outbound interface forwarding information. The technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present invention has an advantage of improving the forwarding efficiency of a message forwarding device.</p> |
