PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact expansion arm and an inspection device.SOLUTION: An expansion arm includes a plurality of arm members 6, 61, 62, and 63 which are provided mutually slidably along lengths; a wire 73 for extension which is tensed along the lengths of the respective arm members so as to extend the respective arm members; a wire 72 for contraction which has the other end connected to an arm member at a tip among the plurality of arm members, and is tensed along the lengths of the respective arm members so as to contract the respective members; and a drum 71 to which one end of the wire for extension and one end of the wire for contraction are connected, and which winds or rewinds the wire for extension and the wire contraction in mutually opposite directions so as to extend or contract the plurality of arm members. |
