PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen removal apparatus capable of preventing degradation of performance due to vapor.SOLUTION: A hydrogen removal apparatus 50 includes: a hydrogen removal section 52 that removes hydrogen from a gas by allowing the gas taken in through a suction port 54 to flow through a hydrogen/oxygen catalyst layer 64 and exhausts the gas from an exhaust port 66; and a heat transfer tube 56 one end of which is connected to an introduction pipe 57 through which a coolant 19 flows in from a coolant supply source 55, and other end of which is connected to a return piping 58 for returning the coolant to the coolant supply source for allowing the coolant to circulate between the heat transfer tube 56 and the coolant supply source 55 via the introduction pipe and the return piping. The hydrogen removal apparatus 50 has a water removal section 51 that removes water by condensing the vapor contained in the gas by means of the heat transfer tube. The heat transfer tube is disposed inside of a reactor storage container and the coolant supply source is disposed outside of the reactor storage container, connection position between the coolant supply source and the return piping is arranged to be higher than a connection position between the coolant supply source and the introduction pipe. |
