PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit a sufficient guide function even in a narrow area or outdoors where GPS is not available.SOLUTION: A guidance information providing device includes guide request reception means of receiving a guide request accompanied by identification information on information desks installed at a plurality of points and direction information that a main axis of a terminal device indicates from the terminal device; present position specifying means of specifying the present position of the terminal device by reference to guide desk data in which the identification information and position information on the guide desks are made to correspond to each other on the basis of the identification information; map image generation means of generating a map image matching the direction of the main axis of the terminal device at display time by reference to the map database on the basis of the present position and direction information; and page transmission means of transmitting page data including the map image to the terminal device.
