<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet loader capable of causing a common detection piece to detect a state in which a sheet is discharged onto a paper discharge unit and a state in which the paper discharge unit is full of sheets, and ensuring sheet alignment, and an image formation apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: An upper discharge unit 25 accommodates sheets P discharged from a pair of upper discharge rollers 135. Each of the sheets P discharged onto an upper discharge surface 26 abuts on an abutment piece 71. A sheet detection unit 7 detects a first state in which the sheets P are not loaded, a second state in which one sheet P is loaded, or a third state in which a full of sheets P are loaded as the abutment piece 71 rotates around a shaft portion 72. A discharge rib 242A aligns the loaded sheets P. In the first state, a lower end portion 710 of the abutment piece 71 is arranged at a standby position extending downstream of an upper edge portion 242A2 of the discharge rib 242A.</p> |
