PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wind noise and improve heat exchange efficiency in an indoor unit of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: In the indoor unit of an air conditioner including, in a casing, a centrifugal air blower 9, a polygonal heat exchanger 11 arranged to surround this air blower 9, and a straightening vane 40 arranged near a suction side 11F of this heat exchanger 11, and blowing out air that has been subjected to heat exchange by the heat exchanger 11 from four blowout portions 33 extending along four sidewalls of the casing, respectively, the straightening vane 40 is configured so that one end 40A is fixed to a linear portion 11C of the heat exchanger 11 located near an end portion 33A of one of the blowout portions 33 and so that the other end 40B extends toward the air blower 9. |
