DIBORANE STORAGE AND BLENDING

To avoid the decomposition of diborane during storage, the diborane is absorbed by absorption media in a vessel. The vessel is then pressurized with hydrogen. Pure diborane may be stored for extended periods of time in this manner. Upon the need of an end user for diborane, the diborane is desorbed from the adsorption media and delivered as required by the end user. The diborane storage vessel may be associated with a gas mixing panel to allow blending of the desorbed diborane with diluent gas to meet the end user requirements.
