Disclosed of the present invention are a motor direct drive system using a fuel cell and a controlling method thereof. The motor direct drive system using a fuel cell according to the present invention includes: a fuel cell unit for generating a DC voltage if a start switch for driving an external load is turned on; a motor operating based on the DC voltage generated by the fuel cell unit; and a direct drive device operated by a gear and a belt that are connected to the motor according to the operation of the motor.
