PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component excellent in migration resistance.SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component 10 includes a capacitor element 20. The capacitor element 20 has a ceramic element main body 22 and external electrodes 36 and 38 formed on a surface of the ceramic element main body 22. On the capacitor element 20, a waterproofing film 40 is formed so as to cover the ceramic element main body 22 and the external electrodes 36 and 38. Further, a silane coupling treatment film 42 is formed so as to cover the waterproofing film 40. |
