PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel feeder thermal insulation frame capable of effectively suppressing generation of enclosure of pig iron due to the feeder thermal insulation frame.SOLUTION: The feeder thermal insulation frame for being disposed on an upper part of a casting die during ingot casting and for forming a feeder for casting is molded from a refractory and at least on a part of a casting die side face and a molten metal side face, a resin coating layer is coated. The feeder thermal insulation frame has resin coating layer coated on the whole face of the casting die side face and the molten metal side face, preferably. And the resin used in the resin coating layer includes phenol resin, preferably. |
