A heat exchanger comprises a number of pipes (2) for accommodation of a first fluid. The pipes extend through holes (3) in a number of lamellas (1). A second fluid to be heat exchanged with the first fluid flows between the lamellas (1) from an inlet to an outlet. The heat exchanger comprises a number of lamellas (1) extending across the height of the heat exchanger, and the lamellas have a number of recesses (5) at the side facing towards the inlet. The recesses (5) extend beyond in at least the row of cooling pipes (2) closest to the inlet, and the lamellas (1) are organized so that the heat exchanger exhibit an uneven surface towards the inlet of the heat exchanger. The invention also comprises a lamella for use in the heat exchanger. |
