PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to monitor a condition of a patient while performing pacing and to provide effective information for medical treatment.SOLUTION: An external pacemaker device 10 comprises: an electric stimulation generating unit 42 which applies an electric stimulation to a cardiac muscle of a subject 1 via an electrode catheter installed within the body of the subject 1; an inner electrocardiogram measurement unit 612 which can measure, via the connected electrode catheter, inner electrocardiogram information including an inner electrocardiogram of the subject 1; a body surface electrocardiogram measurement unit 614 which measures a body surface electrocardiogram of the subject 1 via an electrode 33 attached to a body surface of the subject 1; and a display unit 74 which displays the measured inner electrocardiogram and body surface electrocardiogram in waveform representation.
