PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor of production of advanced glycation end product comprising substances capable of inhibiting production of advanced glycation end product that is thought to be a causative substance of various lifestyle diseases, useful for prevention and/or treatment of lifestyle disease, particularly diabetes or diabetic complications, and having few adverse effects.SOLUTION: Provided is an inhibitor of production of advanced glycation end product comprising hyperin and/or persicarin as active ingredients.
