PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a seal member without an increased fitting surface size, capable of waterproof protecting a contacting part between the contact point part of a contact and the contact point part of a mating contact if the mating connector has no seal member.SOLUTION: The connector can be fit to the mating connector along the vertical direction. The connector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a seal member. The housing includes an upper surface in the vertical direction, and an accommodation section dented downward from the upper surface. The contacts are retained by the housing in a manner of being partially accommodated in the accommodation section. The seal member includes an abutment section positioned on the upper surface of the housing and an accommodated section extending to the inside of the accommodation section from the abutment section in a manner of being retained inside the accommodation section. |
