<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator with the shake of a balance weight suppressed.SOLUTION: An elevator 10 includes a balance weight 20 connected to another end of a main rope 14 whose one end is connected to a car 18; upper and lower flywheels 26, 28 rotatably supported by the balance weight 20, with a rotation axis in line with a direction along the lifting direction of the balance weight 20; and upper and lower fans 30, 32 for rotating the upper and lower flywheels 26, 28 by means of air flow generated when the balance weight is moved up and down.</p> |
