PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently input a three-dimensional model.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional modeling system accepts input of face elements and generates a three-dimensional model as an area surrounded with a plurality of input face elements. It is preferable that the input of face elements is accepted by designation of points and directions. It is preferable that instructions to move or rotate already inputted face elements are accepted to generate again a three-dimensional model with the moved or rotated face elements. In generation of the three-dimensional model, it is preferable that a distance between each of pairs into which a plurality of face elements are coupled is obtained and face areas constituting the three-dimensional model are determined on the basis of lines of intersection between pairs of face elements in the ascending order of distance. In this case, it is preferable that an area including points designating face elements out of areas divided by a line of intersection is determined as a face area constituting the three-dimensional model. Further, it is preferable that the plurality of face elements are grouped and can be collectively moved and rotated. |
