The device (1) has a valve block (2), a controlling unit (3) and a pump motor (4) provided at a drive of a hydraulic pump. The controlling unit and the pump motor are securely rested against the valve block, and a vacuum pump (14) is operatively connected to the drive with the pump motor. The vacuum pump is fastened to the pump motor, where the hydraulic pump and the vacuum pump are arranged at opposite sides of the pump motor. The controlling unit and the pump motor are fastened to contact surfaces (7, 8) of the valve block, where the contact surfaces of the block are opposite to each other. An independent claim is also included for a driver assistance device of a motor car# a brake system of a motor car.
