PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to require a user to wait for a certain time immediately after power-on of a power source or immediately after return from sleep, while allowing reservation for image correction through user operation during wait, thereby allowing the user to be freed from the operation early, as well as correcting an image as instructed by the user at a desired timing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: image forming means for forming an image; measuring means which measures the image formed by the image forming means by means of a sensor installed in a sheet conveyance path; and correction means for correcting reproducibility of the image formed by the image forming means in accordance with a result measured by the measuring means. The image processing apparatus also includes instruction means for instructing correction processing to be executed by the correction means after fixing process stabilization processing, before the fixing process stabilization processing. |
