PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material feeder which can allow a manufacturing apparatus to operate continuously without stopping operation even when a resin material charged in a hopper runs down.SOLUTION: Provided is a raw material feeder 4A comprising: a raw material housing part 8 which houses a resin material R in an interior space which extends in one direction; a heating and melting part 9 which is positioned at a tip side of the raw material housing part 8 and heats the resin material R to convert the same into a molten resin M; hoppers 2a and 2b which extrude the molten resin M from discharge openings 9a and 9b formed in the heating and melting part 9; and an adapter 3A which discharges the molten resin M into a mold, the molten resin M extruded from the discharge openings 9a and 9b flowing in from an inflow entrance 15a. The hoppers are plurally disposed (2a, 2b). The plurality of hoppers 2a and 2b, and the adapter 3A are so designed that the inflow entrance 15a of the adapter 3A can relatively move so that it is always communicating with at least either of the discharge openings 9a and 9b of the plurality of hoppers 2a and 2b. |
